’22 Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup Champions T-Shirt .besteestores As summer is here in New York, my secret WFH formula is to wear a tank top during the in contrast I will get this day, but throw on a blazer when I have a call. I actually prefer to keep my apartment temperature at 68 degrees, so it’s always chilly enough to wear a light jacket, even when it’s sweltering outdoors. I decided to finish off my look with a pair of Dior clogs I bought secondhand that were a steal. While I haven’t been able to sport them as often as I would like, putting them on after months-long quarantine has given me small moments of joy. Working at a media company, we’re always looking ahead to the next story, but during this time in self-isolation, I’ve been trying to carve out some time to pause, sit, and reflect on the work that we’ve done in the past. I’m especially proud of Vogue’s June/July issue, which features a single red rose by Irving Penn on the cover. It was a special issue, not only because it signified both hope and a reawakening, but because it was put together while the entire Vogue staff was under lockdown, when no photoshoots were possible. It was a tremendous effort and one that makes me feel proud. I love to start my days with writing my to-do list. It helps me organize my thoughts before the day inevitably takes unexpected twists and turns. If there’s one silver lining to working remotely, it is that I can still wear my favorite fall outfit in the middle of summer, and my body will never know the difference (thanks to cutting out my daily subway commute). This Proenza Schouler tie-dye skirt is one of my go-tos, partly because its velvet texture is ultra comfortable against my skin. If you can’t tell already, I’m a big fan of Jack and Lazaro’s work. More recently, I’ve been obsessed with their sandals collaboration with Birkenstock. I’ve been wearing them nonstop. As the week eases towards the end, my wardrobe follows suit. One of my favorite work-from-home hero pieces is my Jacquemus striped cardigan. I love to throw it on over a T-shirt and it makes me feel put together while cozying up on the couch or while sitting at my desk during a meeting. During this time at home, setting aside to read in the evenings has helped me separate my work life from my personal life. One book I’ve been reading is Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning by Cathy Park Hong.
