Now she wears grey and the only pediatrics gets to  wear fun scrubs. That happened to my mom, too. Disappointing, really. Shit, some of the only entertainment while you’re in the hospital is seeing the interesting prints the staff wears. The cloth in front of the N95 is actually damaging its purpose and gathering microorganism. This is not a game and I can’t believe people in the medical field can do something like this.

That’s actually the entire point Boo Poop 2020 Vintage shirt . Because they’re such an shortage of N95s, we have to reuse them (at least where I work) and often for as long as possible. We’re told to wear a surgical mask, or in this case, a washable cloth mask, to keep the N95 clean so it can continue to be used for longer. I hate to break it to you, but that’s probably not doing anything other than keeping the masks visibly clean so that people feel more comfortable reusing them. There’s a book produced by the National Academies Institute of Medicine called “Reusability of Facemasks During an Influenza Pandemic: Facing the Flu”.I do that in Sweden actually. Working with patients in the hospital if somebody wonders. I thought the masks are charged to collect particles on the fibers. Once it has collected enough debris it loses the charge and will start to let more and more in. Nah, it’s more like a maze of tunnels for the particles to get through, and particles start to get caught in the corners, so the pathways start to get plugged up.
